We can supply, install, and maintain the Fujitsu Palmpass access control system at your workplace. This robust authentication system uses vascular pattern biometric security technology to deliver fast and convenient identification. In simpler terms, this means an employee’s palm can be scanned to identify them and either provide them access to or deny them access to a location.
This innovation offers secure physical and logical access control for factories, data centres, education, and a variety of other industries. The Fujitsu PalmSecure sensor utilises near-infrared light to capture a person’s palm vein pattern, generating a unique biometric template that is then matched against re-registered user palm vein patterns. Forgery is virtually impossible with this security system, as the palm device can only recognise the vein pattern is blood is actively flowing through an individual’s veins. The Fujitsu Palmpass is contactless, making it an hygienic option, and it can also be used by children. PalmSecure authentication is not affected by the presence of hand lotions, chemicals, abrasions, skin conditions, or the effects of cold environments.
